Commingled Recyclables include glass, aluminum, cans, plastics, papers, and cardboard labeled with the recyclable emblem. All recyclables may be placed in the same clear plastic bag at the end of the driveway on the specified recyclable pick up day. Please note that there is no need to separate the recyclables.
Materials Accepted:
Aluminum food and beverage containers
Glass food and beverage containers (brown, clear, green)
PET - Plastic Containers with the #1 symbol
HDPE - Natural plastic container with the #2 symbol (milk/water bottles)
HDPE - Pigmented plastic containers with the #2 symbol (detergent, shampoo, bleach - no caps)
Plastics with the #3, #4, #5, #6, and #7 symbols
Newsprint
Cardboard - Moving boxes/Cereal boxes, Etc.
Magazines/Catalogs
Paper - printer and copier paper (any color)
Mail
Materials Not Accepted:
Microwavable Trays or Styrofoam of any nature: 'To Go' boxes, coffee cups, packing material
Glass: Windows, auto, mirror, or cookware
Light Bulbs
Ceramics/Porcelain
Plastic Bags
Unnumbered Plastic: such as coat hangers
Household items such as coking pots, toasters. TV's, furniture or other large appliances
